A student is tardy if he or she arrives after 7:45 a.m., which is marked by the bell that opens morning assembly. If the student comes after 8:15 a.m., he or she is marked as a half-day absent. A record of all tardiness is kept in the attendance register and records.  Students who are not in line with their teacher for morning assembly or to walk with the school to Mass are tardy.  Students must go to the school office upon entrance to the school before going to the classroom.

It is the parent's responsibility that students arrive punctually each day.  When students are late, it disrupts the learning environment of the classroom.  Habitual tardiness leads to poor performance, as well.  More than 9 tardies in a trimester may result in a parent-principal conference, which may result in further consequences.
