Arrival Procedures
Yard and Pre-School supervision begins at 7:00 a.m. Students must be supervised at all times while on campus. If students are requested to arrive early (e.g., ASB set-up), they must report to the teacher or moderator with whom they are working. No running is allowed on the yard in the morning. Students should show respect for the requests of the adult supervisors on the yard.
Mass Attendance
Students in TK through 8th grades attend Mass on Wednesday mornings at 8:00 a.m., unless a holy day of obligation requires a change of schedule. Students in the Early Education Program attend Mass and special events at the Director's discretion.
Teachers will begin taking their students to Mass at 7:45 a.m. when the bell rings. Please make every effort to arrive in a timely fashion. In the event your child's class has already left for Mass, please walk them to the church.
Dismissal Procedure
Each teacher leads out his/her class at 3:00 p.m. from Monday through Thursday, and 12:15 p.m. on Friday. Each teacher leads his/her class to the designated line-up area. Parents must park their cars, pick up the student from the line-up area, and walk the student to the car. No play equipment may be used at this time.
All students who are not picked up by 3:15 p.m. (or 12:30 p.m. on Fridays/Minimum Days) are placed into After School Care (ASC). These students include those in the formal ASC program, as well as those students who are involved in any after school activities. Check-in for ASC is in the cafeteria. Please do not ask your child to hide/wait for you without supervision on any part of the campus or parish environs.
Students who are staying in ASC must be under supervision at all times. If they are attending a sports activity, tutoring, or some other event, students must inform and be given permission to leave the area from the staff. Students must return to ASC at the completion of any school activity. No charge for ASC will be billed if the student is picked up within 15 minutes of the activity's end. This helps us provide an orderly dismissal and assures that all students are accounted for. Please be sure to remind your children of this policy.
