In alignment with the ADLA Finland Cohort Guidelines, students receive periodic brain breaks during the instructional day.  These times are worked into their daily schedules.  Students go outdoors as weather permits for recess twice per day.

Proper nutrition impacts student learning and physical development.  Students must be provided with a healthful snack and lunch for school each day.  Students may purchase breakfast or lunch through the Good Starts program.  Catering information is available at the school office.

Fast food is prohibited.  No deliveries may be made to students during the school day.  Students should not share food in order to avoid issues with allergies and dietary needs.  Students should bring their lunches from home in the morning at the time of their arrival.  Parents should notify the school office if an emergency or other situation arises.
