Co-curricular activities occur during the school day that are offered beyond the mandated curriculum.  These include programs such as Student Government and Campus Ministry.  Co-curricular activities are aimed to develop student skills, to explore other disciplines, and to nurture talents.

Extra-curricular activities take place solely outside of the standard school day.  This includes the athletics program, hula class, performing arts classes, and service programs.  Because of the time commitments of the various activities, students may participate in only 2 extra-curricular activities at a given time.  Special requests may be considered through written petition.

Academic Competitions

Academic teams, based on the availability of such opportunities, compete at designated times throughout the year, as determined by the school.  Students may apply for these teams, according to the requirements of the sponsoring organization and guidelines of the moderator.  Students agree to attend all meetings/practices, complete required projects/assignments by the coordinator's due dates, and follow the specifications for the day of the event.  Each participant is considered a St. Augustine School Ambassador and is expected to apply appropriate conduct at such events.

Students must maintain appropriate grades and conduct themselves with both sportsmanship and Gospel values to enter clubs and other activities.  Students are invited to join certain activities, for example, Choir.  Students must submit appropriate forms and follow the codes of conduct prescribed by the moderator and school.
