​​​​​Extended Absences​

When a student is absent for an extended time, the parents/guardians and school administration should discuss the effect of the absence on the student's academic progress and continued enrollment. The school may issue an incomplete or withhold official grades. The school policy for extended absences must be clearly explained in the parent/student handbook.​
