​Government Funded Program Records​

All documents related to government-funded programs -- federal, state, or local -- must be retained for at least 10 years. These include, but are not limited to, E-rate, Department of Agriculture funded meal programs, Title II, LAUSD-supported programs. and any government emergency support services. If a document used in such a program falls into a category in the retention schedules that is shorter than 10 years, it must be retained for the longer period of 10 years. If the retention schedule provides for a longer than 10-year retention time, keep the documents for the longer time. ​
