​​5.6.4 Employees with Employment Agreements

​Certain employment relationships (e.g., those involving teachers and other administrators) are governed by the terms of the applicable written​ agreement(s)​. These agreements usually are for a stated period of time, specify wages and other terms of employment, and may be terminated according to the provisions of the agreements. Locations should not enter into written agreements with employees other than teachers and school administrators; the offer of employment letter​ should be used instead.  For independent contractors, consultants or service providers, see Independent Contractors.​ ​​
