​​Hazard Communication Program​​​

​​​​All locations are responsible for protecting staff, students, and the general public from hazardous chemicals known to be at the location. Locations shall provide staff a reasonably safe place to work and shall instruct staff in safe work practices. In turn, staff members are responsible for learning and following sensible procedures to ensure safety. Staff members who are involved in science lab teaching, whether at the elementary school or high school level, must participate in the archdiocesan science safety course offered in cooperation with Los Angeles County Office of Education.

Proposition 65 Warnings (Right to Know)

Locations with 10 or more employees must determine whether any of the hazardous chemicals on their premises are subject to Proposition 65 chemical hazard warning requirements. To obtain an updated list of the hazardous chemicals, consult the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) Current Proposition 65 List or call the OEHHA at 916-445-6900.
