AM/PM TRAFFIC PLAN*
AM Drop Off
Enter the alley off of Hickory Street.
Drive car as far as possible up the alley until the end of the red curb.
Students should exit the car on the right side and take their backpacks to the front of their classrooms, leave them there and join Walk and Talk on the blacktop.
The car drives through the alley and exits on Olive St.
Students aren’t allowed on campus before 7:40 a.m. There is no supervision until 7:40.
Students are not to be dropped off on Olive St. If parents want to park, they can walk the students in themselves.
P.M. Pick Up
Enter campus the same way you do for drop off. Students will be on blacktop in a designated area with their teachers. Students may not be picked up outside of school grounds. Students must be picked up by 3:15 or they will be sent to After-School Care and fees will apply.
Students will not be released to an unauthorized person. Please notify your child’s teacher in writing of any changes in a student’s transportation. Let your child know what their arrangements are for pick up or appointments whenever possible. Modifications in transportation or appointment details must be called in no later than 2:00 p.m. so students can be informed of the change.
RAINY DAYS
Cars should drive on to the blacktop through the back entrance by the garden and slowly proceed toward the building. During AM drop-off, students exit the car past the preschool gates and proceed to their classroom. Students will be dismissed from the lunch tables to the cars during afternoon pick-up.
Watch for pedestrians crosswalks!
