At no time during the school day are students allowed to leave the school grounds, even during recess or lunch, except by previous written permission and arrangement. If arrangements have been made and the child is to be picked up, the parent or legal guardian or authorized person must present himself/herself to the office before the child is released. The child is then signed out and released. A parent/guardian must send a signed note and/or contact the office if someone other than those previously authorized is to pick up the child. Parents are to sign in their child(ren) at the office when returning from an appointment. The school assumes no liability when students leave the premises in violation of the above policy.
