7:15-7:45am - Early Drop-Off (tables outside front office)
7:45-8:00am - Student entrance/unpack time
8:00am - tardy bell rings - students are marked tardy if not ready for class at this time
9:40-10:00 Morning Recess
12:00-12:40 Lunch Recess
2:40pm - Afternoon Prayers
2:45pm - Dismissal Begins
Here at St. Joseph the Worker School, we want to emphasize the importance of attendance and on-time arrival both to school and in life.
Frequent absenteeism and habitual tardiness negatively impact a student’s
academic, social, and character development. It instills poor time-management skills that
could affect a child’s future school performance and job success. Punctuality is a character trait and a habit that our students need to learn and
adopt. It displays a person’s respect for people and time.
Regular attendance and on-time arrival are expected of each student. Please help model this important trait for your child by having them to school on-time each school day.
