8:10 Late Bell Rings
8:05 – 8:20 Go to class, unpack, take lunch count.
9:30 – 9:45 Recess TK, 5 – 8
10:00 – 10:15 Recess K – 4
11:45 – 12: 20 Lunch TK
12:00 – 12:35 Lunch K – 4
12:25 – 1:00 Lunch 5 – 8
2:45 – 3:00 Clean-up/Dismissal
EARLY DISMISSAL SCHEDULE (Friday)
8:05 – 8:20 Go to class, unpack, take lunch count
12:15 – 12:30 Clean-up/Dismissal
For safety and insurance reasons, we ask that no students arrive at school before 7:30 a.m. The school cannot be responsible for students on the school or parish grounds before that time. This same policy holds true after 3:15 in the afternoon. Students who are still waiting for rides at that time or who have not departed the campus and do not have an after-school activity will be escorted to Extended Care to wait to be picked up. Parents will be charged for Extended Care at a rate of $35 per hour.
School Calendar
Our Lady of Talpa follows the calendar of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. A calendar of the month’s activities is sent home in the Thursday envelope at the beginning of each month. Keep the calendar handy. The weekly newsletter, which is sent home every Thursday, is an important source for changes in the monthly calendar due to unexpected circumstances. The school calendar can also be found on the school website.
