DROP OFF AND DISMISSAL PROCEDURES
Entering & Exiting the Campus on Foot
Before school and at dismissal, walkers are to use the main gate on Woodbury by Lake Ave. The gate is available for entry beginning at 8 a.m. Students and parents entering and exiting the campus must use this gate. A security system is in place and access through this gate will be limited after the school day begins.
Morning Drop Off
Families are strongly encouraged to use the carline. Enter the campus (5 mph) single file through the gate on Catalina and exit on Woodbury. Students dropped off before 7:30 a.m. must be checked into Kids' Club through the ProCare app. Follow teacher and safety patrol directions at all times. When exiting at Woodbury – all cars are to turn RIGHT only. It is dangerous for our children and other drivers and disrespectful to our neighbors to drop off in the street, across the street or in driveways.
Dismissal Pick-up
Carline will begin after the final bell at the end of the day. Cars will be allowed on campus through the Catalina gate just before dismissal. Cars enter single file from the north. Safety Patrol will help students into cars and will keep the traffic flowing. When exiting at Woodbury – all cars are to turn RIGHT only. Students staying past 3:15 p.m. or 12:15 pm on Friday will be checked into Kids' Club. Parents must sign them out through the ProCare app. If the student is participating in an after school program they will report to the program director/coach by the time car line closes.
Exiting the campus
Please be aware of foot traffic and cross traffic on Woodbury. Please obey California school zone speed laws (25 mph) on Woodbury and Catalina! When exiting at Woodbury – all cars are to turn RIGHT only.
Walkers
Students who walk to or from school must enter and exit through the west Woodbury Gate. Students walking to and from school must cross Woodbury and Lake at the signals. Students and parents may not walk in or out gates being used for carline. No student may remain on campus without adult supervision for any event after dismissal. Students that are not supervised, will be signed into Kids' Club and charges will be applied.
DO NOT DROP-OFF OR PICK-UP IN THE RED ZONE, ACROSS THE STREET, OR IN NEIGHBORS' DRIVEWAYS! DO NOT PARK IN THE SCHOOL DRIVEWAYS OR RED ZONES AT ANY TIME! PLEASE USE THE CARLINE FOR STUDENT SAFETY! (Additional information under section 4-07)
