The school Ambassador Program promotes authentic service learning that is aligned with Catholic social justice teaching.  All members of the Learning Community – students, parents, and staff -- are considered SAS Ambassadors.  As such, students are expected to conduct themselves according to the codes of conduct and expectations set forth at all times, whether on campus or outside of the school site.  Parents and staff are considered Ambassadors as well, and therefore expected to serve as role models of active engagement in service opportunities.  All adults must comply with VIRTUS mandates in order to be involved in these activities and events.

In grades 6–8, students must demonstrate their faith through active service in the school, parish, and local communities.  This is a structured program, which must receive pre-site authorization from the junior high religion teacher.  Reflective post-site paper work must be submitted to receive credit for the service.  Students in grade 6 must show proof of 15 hours, while students in grades 7 and 8 must confirm 25 hours of completed service for each year.
