The faculty utilizes the Core Instruction Practices methodology in their classrooms.  Assessment is structured into each class every day to inform the instruction process.

Student progress is measured through formal and informal assessments that may include:  classwork, independent projects, participation, and oral/written quizzes and tests.  These evaluations may carry different weights, as determined by the teacher.  Teachers inform parents at Back-to-School Night and through their postings on the Sycamore Student Information System.
