Before School

Yard and Pre-School supervision begins at 7:30 a.m.  Students must be supervised at all times while on campus.  If students are requested to arrive early (e.g., ASB set-up), they must report to the teacher or moderator with whom they are working.  No running is allowed on the yard in the morning.  Students should show respect for the requests of the adult supervisors on the yard.

After School Care (ASC)

St. Augustine School provides after-school care from school dismissal time until 6:00 p.m.  After-school care is available on days when school is in session unless otherwise notified.  Students who are not picked up by 3:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 12:15 p.m. on minimum days will be placed into after-school care.  Students who are not signed into after-school care must leave the campus.  Parents should not leave their children unattended on the school grounds.  All families receive information and application forms for after-school care on the first day of school.  Parents who do not pick up students on time will be assessed a late fee of $20.00 per half hour, or any fraction thereof.  Habitual tardiness for student pick-up may result in the child's removal from the after-school care program.  All children must be supervised by an adult while on the campus.  Parents or registered guardians must sign their child out in the ASC attendance log.

The principal is the administrator responsible for the managerial aspects of the program, though she may delegate daily responsibilities to the after-school care director.

Students may not be admitted to the after-school care program if payments are more than two months delinquent.  Students who habitually fail to comply with the directives of ASC personnel will be removed from the program.

St. Augustine School at times arranges with independent contractors to provide specialized programs, such as guitar and piano, on a fee basis.  Students are expected to comply with the procedures and policies of the school while in these programs or any other part of the after-school care program.

To ensure the safety of our students, parents and students should carefully follow the directives of the ASC staff for restroom use while ASC is in session.  Information regarding fees and specific program details should be obtained from the front office.
