Student Council
The student government of Visitation School provides services to the school and parish community. It also develops a sense of responsibility in the students and gives them experiences that enable them to become effective leaders in a democratic process and in a Christian community. The Student Council holds school elections, installs classroom representatives and other officers, and sponsors various activities and events each year that involve and benefit the entire student body. A faculty member acts as an advisor to the Student Council. To be eligible for Student Council, students must fulfill all requirements outlined in the Student Council By-Laws. Once a member of the Student Council, students need to maintain a 3.0 GPA.
