Religion Program and Expectations
Mother of Sorrows School encourages students to grow in their knowledge and understanding of the Catholic faith. In addition to Religion class, students participate in Mass, prayer services, and daily prayer. All students are encouraged to participate in the Sunday worship of their church.
The school also offers preparation for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion in the 3
rd
grade. Students must be baptized in the Roman Catholic Church as a prerequisite.
Students entering the school after 3
rd
grade should inform the office of their desire for Sacrament preparation. The Parish requires a minimum of 2 years preparation for First Communion.
