LEAVING SCHOOL EARLY
 

Students should only be signed out early for medical appointments or emergencies. To ensure the absence is not marked as "unexcused" and does not impact attendance, students leaving early for a medical or dental appointment must provide a notice from their healthcare provider upon returning to school. The end of the school day is a valuable time for learning, and efforts should be made to minimize early departures.

The end of the school day is a valuable learning period, and early sign-outs should be minimized. Students who leave during this time may be marked as “End of Day Absent," which will count as one-quarter of a day toward their total absences.​
