Section 6-11 – Yearbook

Bishop Alemany High School's student publication is the Recuerdos Yearbook.  It is governed and operated by student editors overseen by their respective advisors with guidance from the Deans of Discipline.  Through direct participation in publication, students gain valuable writing, editing, and design experience; learn to work cooperatively as members of a staff; and develop a personal dedication to excellence through a shared commitment to producing a product to the best of their ability.

Yearbook students are enrolled in two semesters of the Art Production and Design course, with the goal of submitting all pages to the publisher to receive the final product prior to the end of the spring semester.  Students create a unique theme each year and develop design elements and motifs to help support it.  Working together as a production staff, students collaborate and build every aspect of the Yearbook.  This includes event coverage, photography, and writing articles.  Through their dedication and working with the community, Yearbook students can create a physical piece of history to be shared for years to come.
