Saint Joseph High School, mindful of its mission to be a witness to the love of Christ for all, admits students of any race, color, and national and/or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. SJHS does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, and national and/or ethnic origin in the administration of educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
Saint Joseph High School strives to include students with learning needs that may require accommodations. However, a full range of services may not be available. Decisions concerning the admission and continued enrollment of a student in the school are based upon the student’s emotional, academic, and physical abilities, and the SJHS available resources.
Saint Joseph High School has established open enrollment policies in concert with the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) State Federated State Rule 222 with the following conditions:
- Saint Joseph High School is a Catholic all-girls high school whose philosophy and mission are based on the call of the United States Catholic Bishops “To Teach As Jesus Did;”
- Saint Joseph High School accepts students on a space available basis;
- Saint Joseph High School charges tuition for educational services;
- Saint Joseph High School has admissions requirements pertaining to academic standards and behavior.
