SJHS is a Closed Campus. When the first bell rings in the morning, all entrances are closed and locked. Students are required to remain on campus during the school day except when special permission to leave campus is granted.

Visitors are not allowed on campus at any time without the permission of the school administration. Visitors must go to the Main Office if they are seeking information or have business to conduct with the school.

Student visitors include

  • Prospective Jesters who have arranged to Shadow a current SJHS student. Arrangements are made with the Director of Public Relations or the Director of Marketing.
  • SJHS will notify the sheriff's department of persons loitering on the school grounds. Anyone aware of such a person is asked to inform an administrator or the front office staff immediately.
