Tardy Policy
Tardiness to the first class or activity (school): Students will be given a period of grace and allowed three “no-fault” tardies per semester. Each tardy after that is detention. If a student is late to school he/she must check-in at the main office before going to class.
Loss of Credit: When a student accumulates ten (10) or more tardies in any course, their grade will be dropped a letter grade (10%) for that course.
During the school day: Students arriving 20 minutes late or more to the first-class period will be recorded as absent for that period. Students arriving less than 20 minutes late to the first-class period will be tardy.
Students 20 minutes late to any other class period during the day will be considered truant.
