Tardiness
Please have your children on time for school. A student is tardy if he/she is not in class by 7:50 am.
When tardy, a student must pick up a late slip from the office. Children tardy four (4) times will serve a detention as well as each subsequent four (4) tardies during each trimester. Late attendance to detention will result in an additional detention and/or disciplinary action. Issues of habitual tardiness will also call for a conference with parents and the administration.
Please see the explanations below for attendance:
- Tardy: When arriving at school between 7:50 – 9:00 am
- Morning Absence: When arriving at school after 9:01 am
- Afternoon Absence: When leaving school at 12:00 pm or later
- Afternoon Tardy: When leaving school 30 minutes before the end of the day
