​​Parent Service Hours

We strongly encourage parents to be involved in the school and there are a wide range of different activities from which to choose.  Although there are required hours, we hope that each family finds that their involvement helps build their connection to the SJS school community and is considered a crucial support to the educational program for their children.

All families are required to complete forty (40) hours of service or pay $25.00 per hour not completed.  Five (5) hours must be given to the Parish/School Faire.  A maximum of ten (10) hours can be done for the parish.  See website for details under parental involvement.

Hardship

Please reach out to the principal if there are any significant challenges or hardships in completing parent service hours. We are here to help.

Fundraising

There is strong culture and tradition of generous giving at St. Jude the Apostle School that does not need to be numerically defined.

The PTG will oversee fundraisers for the school in the spirit of building community as well as raising added funds to set aside for the future of the school.

Current families have benefitted greatly from previous funds set aside by alumni families and it is our turn to now pay it forward for the current and future students.

The goal is to ensure adequate extra funds to maintain an enriched and safe learning environment.

Donations/Fundraising

The PTG raises money to support improvements for the school program. Please note the different fundraising projects during the year (see school calendar) and do what you can to support the great cause of educating our children. Donations/Fundraising provides capital for a project, a business or other private or public institutions. ​​
