Recess for all grades is 10:00-10:20 a.m. Monday through Friday. At recess, students are encouraged to eat a healthy snack and play in the yard. Sports equipment is provided by the school. Students are not allowed to bring outside play equipment unless the teacher or principal are notified. Teachers, staff, and parent volunteers are assigned for supervision of students and the yard.
Bringing Fast Food to school for your child is strongly discouraged. Thank you for cooperating with this school rule.
Lunch for grades 1-5 is 12:00-12:40 p.m.. Students use the same play equipment as they did at recess.
Lunch for the Junior High is from 11:50-12:30. Students use the same play equipment as they did at recess.
Kindergarten recess and lunch times may vary slightly but generally run from 12:00-12:40.
Parents/Guardians who wish to celebrate their child’s birthday at school must give at least 24 hours- notice to the teacher. Snacks are to be dropped off to the office or carried in with the students. The teacher decides the distribution time during the day. No toys are allowed, only snack items (cookies, cupcakes, small snack).
