Homework
Students in Kindergarten through 5th grade at SFDS have homework on almost all school weekdays. In the Junior High (grades 6-8), homework is assigned on almost all weekdays and may be assigned on the weekends at the teacher's discretion. Long-range projects or reading assignments in grades K-8 may require additional weekend time. Homework is assigned to reinforce material already taught and foster habits of independent study.
