Testing and Assessments
The school follows the standardized testing program as directed by the Archdiocesan
Department of Catholic Schools. Students in grades 5 & 8 take the Assessment of Catholic
Religious Education (ACRE) in the winter. Students in grades K-8 take the STAR reading and
math assessments three times a year to measure growth and the achievement of standards in
both subjects. The school encourages parents to help prepare their students for these tests by
getting plenty of rest, eating a nutritious breakfast, and getting to school on time.
