Extended Absences
When, for family reasons, parents/guardians wish
to take their children out of school temporarily, the principal and teacher
will discuss with the parents/guardians the possible effects of such an
absence. If a student is absent for an extended time, (more than 15 days in a trimester),
official grades may be withheld and the student may be retained (may not be promoted to the next grade level).
