ACCIDENT PROCEDURE
SEVERE ILLNESS OR INJURY
In case of a health emergency we will call 911 first and then contact the parent/guardian. If the student needs to be transported to a hospital for evaluation/treatment and the parents are not yet on campus a staff member will accompany the child.
INSURANCE
A secondary accident insurance program is provided for all students. It supplements medical expenses incurred due to an accidental bodily injury sustained by your child while attending school or while participating in a school-sponsored activity. When a student has been injured, an insurance claim form should be requested from the school office. Parents should report school related accidents or injuries to the office immediately and file an accident report with the school office the same day if possible.
