EXTENDED ABSENCES
When a student is absent for an extended time, the school may withhold official grades.
If you are going to be out of town, please notify the school office, AND classroom teacher, regarding the custodial care of your
child. Emergency information should be included. If the student is going out of town and will miss school for an extended period of time (more than 3 days), please notify the school office, AND classroom teacher, so we can be aware.
When a student is absent for an extended time (15 days or more during a trimester) official grades
may be withheld. This decision is left to the judgment of the principal in consultation with the teacher.
