Saint John the Baptist School
Philosophy
Saint John the Baptist School’s philosophy is rooted in the teachings of Jesus and the Catholic traditions.
“Full authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth: go, therefore and make disciples of all nations… Teach them to carry
out everything I have commanded you…” (Matthew 28:18-20)
We recognize that parents are the primary educators of their children. As Catholic educators, we pursue and promote active cooperation
between parents and the school. Our school seeks to respond to the needs of our students by integrating instruction, culture, and faith.
Our goal is to create opportunities for growth in an atmosphere in which each student’s spiritual, moral, psychological, intellectual, physical,
sociological, and aesthetic development is met. We measure education not only in academic achievements, but in the student’s active
contribution as responsible members of our global community.
