A student may not leave the school before the regular dismissal time without a written request from a parent or guardian. The request must state the reason for early dismissal. Students may lose credit for missing work unless a signed medical note is provided upon their return. Parents may not pick up students between 2:00-3:00 p.m. for appointments. If you have scheduled an appointment and need to make sure your child arrives in time, he/she must be picked up by 2:00 p.m. We will not call students down to the office between 2:00-3:00 p.m. unless it is an emergency. (Appointments are not considered an emergency.)
Parents may not take students out of class to attend the events of siblings held at school. This practice is very disruptive to the educational environment of the classroom.
