The retreat experience is intended as an effective means of evangelization and spiritual development of the school community. The pastor, principal, and elementary school religious coordinator determine the type and number of retreat experiences that best meet the needs of the particular school community.

First Holy Communion Retreat

The First Holy Communion retreat is an integral part of the students' faith formation. The retreat is a morning of reflection and activities that provide both parents and children an opportunity to learn more about the Eucharist and the importance of this Sacrament in their lives as Catholics.

Middle School Retreats

St. Brendan School offers spiritual retreats for each of the middle school grades. In the Scriptures, Jesus, our model, retreated many times to pray, reflect, and draw inspiration and strength from God. Our retreats give students their own opportunities to have a break from the distractions of their day. Through attendance at Mass, prayer, and group activities, our students take time to encounter God, notice how He speaks to them, and reflect on how they will respond.

Faculty/Staff Retreat

All St. Brendan School staff members attend an annual retreat before each new school year that focuses on the essential ministry of teaching and how the Catholic faith guides all work done with the students.
