Arrival/Dismissal Procedures

The school opens at 7:00 a.m. Monday-Friday. Students coming to school before 7:30 a.m. must report to the Pavilion for supervision. All students should be dropped off at the alley gate or the parent gate on 88th Street. Once on the school grounds, students are not permitted to leave before the end of the school day unless they are signed out by a parent/guardian in the front office.
School Dismissal is at 2:45 p.m. on Monday through Thursday and 11:45 a.m. on Friday.
Students who walk home with parent/guardian supervision must be picked up at the schoolyard. Parents must enter through the designated gate on 88th Street.
Students who walk home without parent/guardian supervision must complete a Dismissal Release Form available in the school office.
Students who are being picked up by car must be picked up in the alley behind the school. Cars are to go north through the alley.
There is no parking in the alley or double parking on the streets at any time. Parents needing to park for school business are asked to park in the parish parking lot. Any student who is still on the school grounds 15 minutes after dismissal will be sent to the school office. If the student is still on school grounds 30 minutes after dismissal, the family will be charged according to the ESS policies.

Students are not permitted to bring skateboards, bikes, scooters, or roller blades to school.
