Welcome to our online handbook! We are excited to partner with you in providing a faith-filled and academically enriching experience for your children. The Parent-Student Handbook is an essential resource designed to provide clarity on our school policies, expectations, and procedures. It contains important information regarding school routines, academic guidelines, behavioral expectations, safety protocols, and more.

Our goal is to create a supportive environment where every student can thrive spiritually, academically, and socially. The guidelines within this handbook have been thoughtfully developed to ensure consistency and fairness, while also fostering a safe and nurturing community.

Sections of this Parent-Student Handbook are particular to St. John of God School. Other sections are policies and procedures of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, most of which can be found in the ADLA Administrative Handbook at http://handbook.la-archdiocese.org/

I encourage you to read through this handbook carefully and discuss the contents with your child. Familiarity with these guidelines will help ensure a successful school year for everyone. By reading the Handbook and signing the Acknowledgment parents and students agree to be bound by the school’s Code of Conduct and all other school policies and procedures. You can print out a copy of the Handbook if you wish, but the binding document is the one that is online. The school reserves the right to amend the Parent Student Handbook at any time. Parents/guardians will be notified of any amendments and will be asked to sign an acknowledgment of receipt.Welcome to the Parent Student Handbook. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Thank you for your continued partnership and trust in St. John of God School. Together, let’s make this a wonderful year for our students!
