Parent Organizations
Parent organizations play a vital role in promoting support for the school program, fostering understanding between the school and families, building community, and assisting with financial contributions. Parent or parent-teacher organizations are encouraged to follow Archdiocesan policies.
General Guidelines
- Parent organizations are advisory.
- They operate under a constitution and bylaws aligned with Archdiocesan policy.
- They are not separate legal entities from the school.
- They adhere to Department of Catholic Schools regulations.
Membership
Members include the pastor (or designee), principal, parents/guardians of enrolled students, and faculty if a parent-teacher organization. The pastor and principal have final approval over officers and executive members, with both serving as ex officio members.
