Admission Guidelines
OLR offers a full-day transitional kindergarten program licensed by the State of California. Students must be 4 years old by September 1 and completely potty trained. Diapers, including pull up diapers, are not permitted to be worn under the school or PE uniform. Children must be able to independently communicate their bathroom needs and care for their personal restroom hygiene. This prepares them as they transition to kindergarten.
The recommended age for kindergarten students is five years of age on or before September 1. The recommended age for first grade students is six years of age on or before September 1.
All students must comply with current California immunization and health requirements prior to enrollment. Parents are required to submit a copy of their child's current immunization records and birth certificate to the school office prior to the start of each school year. OLR strives to have Catholic education accessible to as many students as possible, both with its educational programs and financial considerations. However, it may not have sufficient resources to meet the educational and financial needs of all students. Schools should not admit students who owe money to another school. The pastor and principal shall review students' continued eligibility for enrollment in the parish school.
