TARDINESS
A student is considered tardy if they arrive after 8:00 AM. Arriving more than 30 minutes late will result in being marked as absent for half a day. All tardies are recorded in the Student Attendance Register. A written excuse from a parent is required at the start of the next school day for any tardiness. A student who is tardy for more than 30 minutes on four or more days within a school year, without a valid excuse, is classified as truant.
