GRADUATION
Graduation ceremonies mark the culmination of four years of high school achievement. Participation in all graduation activities (Senior luncheon, Prom, the Baccalaureate Mass, Senior Grad Night event, and the actual graduation ceremony) is a privilege extended by the school to deserving students. The school reserves the right to deny participation in any or all of the senior activities to students whose conduct is deemed inappropriate or is contrary to the philosophy, rules, and disciplinary regulations of the school. Diplomas will be withheld from a student who has not fulfilled financial, athletic, academic, community service or disciplinary obligations. All academic holds must be cleared by August 1 of the graduation year in order to receive a diploma. In addition, all financial obligations must be met in order to participate in senior/graduation activities.
Grad Nite at Disney California Adventure
Bishop Montgomery High School traditionally offers seniors the opportunity to attend Grad Nite at Disney California Adventure. The date of Grad Nite is determined by Disney and may vary from year to year.
Students who purchase a ticket are required to attend the event as part of the school's organized transportation plan and must depart from and return to Bishop Montgomery High School at the times designated by the school.
All students attending Grad Nite must comply with Disney's Grad Nite policies and expectations, as well as all rules and regulations outlined in the Bishop Montgomery Parent-Student Handbook, including the dress code requirements for school-sponsored co-curricular activities. Students who fail to comply with these expectations may be denied participation in the event.
