Extended Absences

An absence of more than one week is considered an extended absence and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the Assistant Principal of Student Affairs. When an extended absence occurs, the student or parent/guardian must notify the Assistant Principal of Student Affairs by email, and students are expected to remain current with all assigned schoolwork throughout the absence. If an absence becomes excessively prolonged and substantially impacts a student’s ability to meet course requirements, the student may be at risk of losing credit for the course.
