As an elementary school, OLA does not offer student dances. The OLA Parent Faculty Association organizes activities each year for parents and students, including the Father/Daughter Dance as well as a Mother/Daughter, Father/Son, and Mother/Son events which vary each year. In their last week of school, the 8th graders enjoy a dinner/picnic with dancing (including a DJ)n and games on the grass area, while parents attend an 8th grade parent appreciation dinner.
