In the event of a natural disaster, the faculty of St. Joseph the Worker is prepared to care for the
students.
In compliance with Archdiocesan regulations for disaster emergency procedures, such
as earthquakes or fire, the following steps will be taken:
➢ DO NOT TELEPHONE THE SCHOOL. Lines must be kept open for emergency use.
➢ During evacuation, students will assemble in a predetermined designated area.
➢ Students’ Release: All students will be held in supervised areas. They will be released according to parents’
wishes as designated on their emergency form. Be sure this form is accurate and current. Students will ONLY
be released to the persons listed on their emergency card.
➢ If an emergency occurs outside of school hours, notification will be sent via the REMIND APP. Listen to your
local radio station for instructions on school closure. St. Joseph the Worker will follow the same procedure as
the public schools in the area.
