St. Joseph the Worker Students are invited to create their own clubs. Students may request a club form from the front office.

In addition to student-created clubs, St. Joseph the Worker School offers a choir, a performance choir, a drumline, and chess club (provided by an outside vendor). Teacher-led clubs include STEM club, Art club, and Cooking club. Each club runs for six weeks. Some clubs require a small materials fee.

St. Joseph the Worker School also participates in the CYO sports league, as well as the Valley Catholic Swim League.

In order to participate in a sport or club, students must maintain a 2.0 minimum GPA and have no NIs in work habits or behavior. Any student who does not meet these minimum requirements at a marking period (progress report or report card) may be placed on academic probation. If the requirements set forth in the probation contract are not met, the student will lose the privilege of remaining on the team until the requirements are met.

If a student receives a detention during the sport or club season, they may miss a game or session in order to  serve the detention. Detentions will not be rescheduled so that a student may participate in a game or a club.
