Any student participating in academic dishonesty will receive an automatic 0 on the assignment without the option of making up the assignment. At the discretion of the teacher and administration, a referral or detention may be assigned. Repeated academic dishonesty may result in suspension or expulsion.
Academic dishonesty includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- copying homework from a classmate
- sharing homework with a classmate
- copying any sources (print or internet) without proper citations
- using anyone else's (friend, parent, siblings) words on an assignment
- cheating on a test (copying someone's answers, switching names on test papers)
