The retreat experience is intended as an effective means of evangelization and spiritual development of both faculty and students. The principal, elementary school religion coordinator, or high school campus ministry team, as applicable, determines the type and number of retreat experiences that best meet the needs of the particular school community.

The Assumption Faculty participate in at least one full day retreat at the beginning of the school year.  Second graders as part of their Sacrament preparation participate in retreats.  The 8th graders participate in a full dat retreat each year.  Other school wide retreats are planned by the faculty.  These include class Masses, Advent and Lenten reflections, and individual class events.
