Saint John the Baptist School makes every effort to involve the parents in the students’ learning experience. The school website www.sjsbp.org is maintained on a regular basis by our “Tech Angeles”, a committee of professionals who volunteer their time and effort, and under the supervision of the school administration. While every effort is being made to maintain timely information, there is a natural delay in updating the information. Therefore, any current information distributed to the parents by the administration supercedes the information on the website.

School Speak is a parent portal where parent information, calendars, grades and homework is listed. Please make sure that you log-in regularly for important news and information from your child’s teacher. If you are having any difficulties logging in to your parent portal, please see Mrs. Escalera, Vice Principal.

2. Orientation Meeting:
A mandatory Parent Teacher Orientation meeting is held at the beginning of the school year. The purpose of this meeting is to give the parents an overview of what will be taught at that grade level, teacher expectations, and to clarify whatever questions parents might have.

3. PTO Meetings

The Parents’ meetings are held monthly. These give the parents the opportunity to be informed about current school expectations, events and issues.

4. Usage of cell phones and video equipment:

Students are not permitted to use cell phones, cell phone cameras on school grounds or at school sponsored functions. Students will be instructed to keep their cell phones turned off during school hours or during school sponsored functions.​
