The retreat experience is intended as an effective means of evangelization and spiritual development for both faculty and students.  The faculty opens each year with a spiritual retreat in preparation for leading students in faith formation.  The faculty again retreats in February at the Religious Education Congress, sponosored by the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

Students also participate in retreat experiences.  Fifth through Eighth grade students make a retreat in first trimester in preparation for Advent.  The second grade makes two retreats in preparation for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist.  Third through Fourth grades make retreats as part of the Lenten Season.  The eighth grade makes an end-of-the-year retreat as a part of their graduation and of their entrance into high school.
