​All directives regarding immunization, issued annually by the State of California, shall be implemented. Pursuant to the California Department of Public Health, the following immunizations are required for school entry:

Hepatitis B—three doses required for school entry given at any time

Diphtheria, Tetanus and Pertussis (DTP) 4 doses are required and at least one dose must be given on or after the 4th birthday

Polio (OPV/IPV) 3 doses are required and at least one dose must be given on or after the 4th birthday

Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) 2 doses are required and both doses must be given after the 1st birthday.

Varicella (Chickenpox) 2 doses are required

For students entering Grade 7 they must have in addition to the above, a booster of Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis (Tdap) which must be given on or after the 7th birthday.

Medical exemptions can only be issued through the California Immunization Registry – Medical Exemption website by physicians licensed in California. ​
