Assignments are given so that skills and lessons learned in class may be strengthened, thus aiding progress and achievement. Homework proves a child's ability to carry over the work of the classroom. Parents can assist the child by making certain that the child works in an environment free from distractions and that the child has a definite time and place for daily independent study. We encourage supplementary reading and study throughout the school year. This is a suggested schedule for homework:
Grades One and Two 30 minutes
Grades Three and Four 60 minutes
Grades Five and Six 90 minutes
Grades Seven and Eight 120 minutes
